Hanlin Ltd – UK’s largest trade only wholesaler of hides & skins. We are a small, focused family-owned company, founded by Alan and Lorraine Hanlin in 1975. This year, 2025, marks a monumental milestone for our company—our 50th anniversary of trading!
Over the years we have grown and evolved, offering high-quality products sourced from all over the world.
As a leading supplier of sheepskin products, including rugs, slippers, gloves, and more, we specialise in unique hides and skins such as cowhides, reindeer hides, and a wide range of luxury natural products.
Our journey began with market trading and agricultural show work, where we sold sheepskin products locally and eventually nationwide. In 1978, we expanded into wholesaling, opening a warehouse in Birmingham to accommodate growing demand.
By 1985, we relocated to Earlswood, and most recently, we moved into our new warehouse and showroom in Redditch, Worcestershire.
Over the years, we’ve built a reputation for quality and service. Our team personally selects every cowhide and reindeer hide, ensuring the best quality and colour selection for our customers.
We serve department stores, independent shops, garden centres, major chains, and internet retailers, with a strong export business to match.
